Projects go unfinished – some grand and expensive, some simple and plain.  For various reasons, time, money, desire, they lay idle prior to completion.

But God never begins a work He doesn’t intend to finish.  Those He calls will never be left out, never lost.  All that the Father gives to Jesus shall never, never be cast out.

A believer’s salvation is forever preserved by Christ.  It is certain because Christ has come! God lowered Himself to us, His lowly creation, and having lived a perfect, sinless life, sacrificed Himself for our sake, to pay our penalty, to overcome death completely, and to rise again to absolute glory.  And Christ has the ability to hold each believer securely, as clearly articulated in the Word.

We need never doubt.  We who have placed our faith in the saving power of Christ are secure.  He provides a most certain salvation.
